Blueberry Azurite Geodes Diamonds 14k Gold Earrings - Lori Earrings
Magnificent cobalt blue azurite nodules, called blueberry geodes, are clearly the focal point of these novel earrings. These originated as small marble like formations (approximately 62 million years ago), that were carefully split apart to reveal, not only the intense azure color - but the shimmering and sparkling druzy crystal centers. They have been set into custom 14k gold vine and foliate mountings which feature a little diamond sparkle of their own (approx. .61 CTW). These old and rare specimens were mined from the now closed Blue Ball Mine in Miami, Arizona. Size: 1.875 inches long from top of ear wire X .75 inches wide
