Intaglios, which were originally brought to the US by Victorian young adults, as a part of their European studies, are all based in Mythology. This particular Venetian glass intaglio features a very handsome lion being approached by a young cherub. The stunning colors of turquoise and light amethyst paired with pearls are the perfect foil for their necklace counterpart. The necklace features bezel set turquoise intercepted with Rose de France (light amethyst) which has been faceted in a checkerboard design.
