Blueberry Azurite Geode Druzy Earrings - Betsy Earrings

Unique little oddities of nature - these blueberry geodes (azurite) are rimmed with a gorgeous green circle (malachite) then encircled within a glittering rim of vintage blue crystals. These delicate little geodes - renown for their intense color - are increasingly difficult to find, as many of them have been ground into powder for paint pigments for decades. They appear in nature as small little marble-like balls which when gently split open with a chisel - reveal an shimmering display of cobalt blue druzy crystals lining their dimpled nest.
