An exquisitely preserved Victorian enamel mourning locket, festooned with a pearl encrusted bow and a charming cherub is the focal point of this charming necklace. Hand-coiled step faceted blue topaz nuggets are combined with delicate pink amethyst rondelles to echo the soft pastel colors found in the pristine enamel painting of the locket. The reverse side of this locket holds a delightful surprise in a nod to its probable provenance - a gold vermeil Fleur de Lis floating in a sea of soft blue aquamarine bubbles on a background of Mother-of-pearl.
