Chrysoprase in recent years, has recently become the darling of the gem world and is one of the most searched stones on my website. I believe it is the fresh spearmint green color and ease of pairing with other stones that makes it so alluring. It tends to show up at gem shows in either large rough cuts, with an abundance of black/brown specks – or it is cut into smaller stones.
