Lapis Pink Quartz Porcelain Chatelaine Scent Bottle Necklace - Lillian Necklace
A long strand of beautiful cobalt blue faceted lapis beads are intersected with stations of brushed gold vermeil beads flanked by soft pink quartz oval beads. The focal point of the necklace is the charming hand painted cobalt blue porcelain chatelaine scent bottle (circa 1890). The lovely crown-style cork stopper is original to the bottle and the original finger ring is adorned with lapis quatrefoil, pink quartz and Napoleonic bee charms. Likely French in origin, the porcelain bottle has suffered no cracks or chips and other than some minor losses in the gold/silver decorative gilding - this precious bottle is in excellent condition.
The chatelaine scent bottle is easily removed from the lapis necklace to allow the owner flexibility in creating a layering necklace with other jewelry from their personal collections.
